Revolutionary Greeting, All members of the Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) are implored to abide by all regulations of Government published after the declaration of State of National Disaster, to an extent only necessary to combat the spread of COVID-19. The PAC will take reasonable steps towards ensuring legal compliance with these legal regulations. Where same regulations including the Country Lockdown, trample on constitutional rights of communities however limited as they may be, the PAC in solidarity with the communities, will take steps to protect the African People. PAC National Office bearers and its leader who is a Member of Parliament, Cde Mzwanele Nyhontso, have been declared an essential service thus will be available to provide reasonable assistance to members of the PAC and African people in general. Should there be any abuse of the regulations meant to stop the spread of COVID-19, everyone is advised to readily have contacts of their respective PAC leadership in the Province, Region and Branch, where they can report any abuse. Reported cases of abuse will then be relayed to the PAC National Office bearers, who will then report such to relevant authorities including responsible government ministers/officials, while keeping record of the same. Importantly, reports of any abuse of all these government regulations should be credible with evidence and witnesses must be available to give their accounts under oath The PAC reiterate that all members and the general public, should adhere to all health precautions published by the organisation, Government Health Department(s) and all that have joined the fight to stop the spread of COVID-19. Members should make it their duty to find more about COVID-19, use all Government available assistance including call centres. PAC Secretary General, Apa Pooe, furthermore to measures meant to curb the spread of COVID-19, the epicentre of Coronavirus is Sandton & Bedfordview and towards ensuring that there are no special treatment of the wealthy, the focus of lockdown should be in these areas including those who travelled to the epicenters of the world in the last three months.
The PAC remain committed towards assisting all people against the abuse of the regulations meant to curb the spread of COVID-19. We advice that the date & time of the incidence, name(s) of the alleged victim(s) and where possible identified perpetrator(s) including any vehicle’s registration should be reported to PAC in terms of the memo issued to all PAC Structures, members and General public.
